The CALIMA App transforms the standard smartphone into a personal distress signal (PDS) device with which employees can call for immediate help in case of an emergency.

► HOW IS AN ALARM TRIGGERED?

» Manual trigger via app, widget and hardware button
» Automatic trigger in the event of a fall and immobility
» Automatic trigger through an alarm timer (dead mans switch)

► WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ALARM IS TRIGGERED?

As soon as an alarm has been triggered, the emergency contacts you have defined will receive a call and a text message or an email with the emergency message and a link. All relevant emergency information can be viewed using the web browser.

► WHAT DO I HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO DURING USE?

To provide best protection, the following requirements must be met:
» App must be open in the background
» Functioning smartphone with sufficiently charged battery
» Connection to the Internet (via mobile or WLAN)
